Amber Coville, Executive Director
Joined Valley Heartland in 2016
As the new Executive Director, Amber works with the Board of Directors to guide the organization’s strategic direction. She leads initiatives that drive economic growth, business retention and expansion, investment attraction, and regional collaboration. Amber’s leadership extends to the Regional Economic Development work Valley Heartland leads on behalf of Lanark County, including projects like the Rural Community Inclusion Pilot Project, REDI Pilot Project, and the 2024 award-winning Digital Land in Lanark campaign. Amber was also recognized as the 2025 Doug Ellis Economic Development Officer (EDO) of the Year by Ontario East Economic Development Commission in September 2025.
Danika Bowick, Office & Loans Administrator
Joined Valley Heartland in 2025
Danika supports the Executive Director and Lending & Business Advisor by managing loan administration, coordinating disbursements, and maintaining accurate client records. As the first point of contact for visitors, Danika oversees front-office operations, co-tenant relations, and the coordination of meeting space rentals.
